Word Magic - Fun Learning Experience for Kids
Word Magic is an excellent application for preschoolers and kindergarten kids to have fun with words and their spellings while learning them. It has won nominations for the Best Educational App by 2009 Best App Ever awards and has been featured in "Apps for kids" by Apple. The app is designed keeping in mind kids between the ages of 3 to 6 who can have a fun learning experience with it.
The app presents a picture and asks the kids to select the missing letter for the word. The picture for the word is read out, and there are three flavors to choose from based on the kid's level - missing letter at the beginning, middle, or end. Word Magic is loaded with fun features, including a simple design where kids need to just touch the answer, attractive and funny pictures, and surprise appreciation with real voice every time they pick the correct answer.
The app also rewards the kids after every five successive correct answers with different colored stars, which they love. Word Magic is a positive reinforcement and a fun learning experience for kids that helps them with their spelling skills and vocabulary.
